   Record the owner of the original work or mark, the right you believe is involved, and whether you are authorized to act. Similar product ideas, shared features, or a high similarity score do not by themselves establish infringement.

   Preserve the source material

   Keep the original work, specific candidate URLs, and dated screenshots or files. Note when and how each item was collected. Takedown records supplied material and analysis time; it does not create independently verified website captures.

   Review other explanations

   Check for permission, licensed assets, authorized resellers, common product language, or another explanation for the overlap. If the rights or appropriate claim are unclear, get qualified advice before filing.

   Choose the appropriate reporting route

   Use the platform’s official reporting process and current requirements. A copyright issue, trademark issue, and other complaint can require different information. Complete and review any declarations yourself.

   Review, submit, and keep a record

   Treat a downloaded request as a preparation draft. Replace placeholders, verify every factual statement, and submit only when you are ready. Keep the platform’s confirmation and any replies. Takedown does not submit requests or guarantee removal.
